Is there any better way to enjoy a cold January day?

I love making bread. I've been asked before 'why make bread if you can just buy it'? Here's why: it's the most therapeutic thing ever. And it's so good smearing homemade Nutella on it when it's hot out of the oven.

Bread is one of those things to make if you have a day home to yourself since you've got to let it rise.

I think I've hit an epic level of laziness - you know those days when you know exactly how much work you have to do but you can't force yourself to do it? And then you sit around feeling worthless?

Well that's when I thought of cookies.

Checked my fridge/pantry and I have enough random ingredients lying around for this to be a success, so here we go!
